'Dotjari Cultural Salon' Unfolds at Baekun Lake Grass Park on Evening of the 5th

Uiwang City announced on the 31st that it will operate an outdoor cultural event 'Dotjari Cultural Salon' at the grass square of Baekun Lake Park on the 5th of next month.

Any citizen can enjoy performances and movies for free in an urban park on an autumn evening by bringing only a dotjari (picnic mat).

From 6:30 PM to 7:20 PM, performances by poperetta singer Koo Hyun-mo and fusion traditional music band Gugak-in-ga-yo will take place. Following that, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, the film 'A Man Living with the King' will be screened.

Food trucks will also operate at the venue, where visitors can purchase simple food items for a fee.

Uiwang Mayor Kim Sung-je said, "I hope you will enjoy the Dotjari Cultural Salon on an autumn evening with family, friends, and neighbors to create precious memories," and added, "Going forward, we will prepare various programs so that culture and leisure permeate the daily lives of our citizens."
