The Gyeonggi Province Technical School, operated by the Gyeonggi Province Employment Foundation, received a delegation from the Vietnamese Women's Federation on the 25th to share technical education and women's job policies. The visit was organized to exchange policies and field experiences aimed at women's economic independence and occupational competency enhancement, while exploring possibilities for future cooperation.

The Vietnamese Women's Federation, which is investigating overseas best practices, visited the foundation to observe the technical workforce development and women's employment and entrepreneurship support services at Gyeonggi Province Technical School. The visit included 18 participants, including senior officials from the Vietnamese Women's Federation and accompanying staff.

The foundation introduced the operational model of Gyeonggi Province Technical School, focusing on technical workforce development aligned with industrial demands in sectors such as electricity and automobiles, along with major achievements. Subsequently, both parties exchanged views on future cooperation possibilities, particularly in women's occupational competency enhancement and talent development.

The delegation toured major practical training facilities at Gyeonggi Province Technical School, including the Advanced Mechanical Engineering Department, Electrical Energy Department, Smart Mobility Department, AI Industry Department, and Smart Welding Department. They examined the curricula reflecting industrial demands and practical equipment, and confirmed the field-oriented technical workforce development system.

The delegation then visited the foundation's Southern Business Division to inspect the Women's Re-employment Center's vocational training facilities and the women's startup support project 'Kkum-maru.' The delegation examined the women's job support system that connects vocational training, employment, and entrepreneurship. Based on this, they expanded their understanding of the foundation's job policies encompassing technical education and support for women's economic activities.

Heo Jung-eun, head of the Convergence Talent Division at the Gyeonggi Province Employment Foundation, stated, "Strengthening women's occupational competency is an issue that must be addressed collaboratively across borders," and added, "I hope this visit serves as a starting point that leads not only to the sharing of experiences between both institutions but also to substantive cooperation."
