Semiconductor Company Job Fair on 27th-28th…20 Companies from Province to Participate
Gyeonggi Province will hold the ‘2026 Gyeonggi Province Semiconductor Company Job Fair’ at Suwon Convention Center on the 27th and 28th. This job fair will be held as an ancillary event within the Advanced Semiconductor Packaging Industry Exhibition (ASPS), with 20 semiconductor companies from the province participating to operate various job support programs including recruitment consultations and company briefing sessions for young people seeking employment in the semiconductor field.
The fair is hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by the Next-Generation Convergence Technology Research Institute and the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association. The program is structured to go beyond simply providing recruitment information, allowing company hiring managers and job seekers to communicate directly and verify the competencies necessary for job preparation.
On the first day, the 27th, from 1:30 p.m., nine semiconductor companies including Carewell Solutions, KC Tech, and ChipskeyAI will participate under the organization of the Next-Generation Convergence Technology Research Institute to operate recruitment consultations and one-on-one interviews. Professional job consultants will review job seekers' resumes and provide customized feedback, and special lectures will be held introducing the job competencies and employment strategies required by semiconductor companies. AI-powered mock interviews will also be operated to help participants prepare for actual interviews.
Ancillary events necessary for job preparation will also be conducted. Participants can have photos taken for use in resumes and receive personal color diagnosis to find colors that suit them. Being able to experience everything from company consultations to resume reviews and interview practice in one space is expected to provide practical assistance to young people preparing for employment in the semiconductor field.
On the 28th, under the organization of the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association, 11 semiconductor companies including Woonik IPS, KLA, and Zeus will participate to hold company recruitment briefing sessions introducing recruitment positions and the type of talent companies are seeking. Information necessary for actual employment such as recruitment plans and application procedures will also be provided, and recruitment consultations where company representatives and job seekers meet directly will continue.
Park Min-kyung, Head of the Semiconductor Industry Division at Gyeonggi Province, said, “We hope this job fair will serve as an opportunity for young people preparing for employment in the semiconductor field to directly meet company representatives, obtain recruitment information, and enhance their employment competencies.” He added, “We will continue to provide support so that semiconductor talent cultivation and company recruitment within the province can be substantively connected.”
