Hwaseong Special City Seeks Top 5 Shine Muscat Farms
Hwaseong Special City (Mayor Jung Myeong-geun) is recruiting participating farms for the '2026 Hwaseong Special City Shine Muscat Evaluation Contest with Producers' from the 24th to the 28th of this month for five days to encourage high-quality Shine Muscat production and discover excellent farms.
Applicants must be farms growing Shine Muscat within Hwaseong Special City. Farms wishing to participate can apply by visiting the Fruit Excellence Project Office at Hwaseong City Agricultural Technology Center (92 Sagang-ro, Songsan-myeon) during the application period.
Application forms can be downloaded from the City Administration Announcements section of Hwaseong Special City's website, the announcements section of Hwaseong City Agricultural Technology Center's website, or forms available at the Fruit Excellence Project Office can be used. The application deadline is 6 p.m. on the 28th.
The city will conduct a three-stage evaluation of applying farms to select 'Hwaseong Special City's Best Fruit, Shine Muscat TOP 5.' After selecting 30 farms through the first-stage farm evaluation, the city will conduct second-stage measurement evaluation and third-stage appearance evaluation to select the final five farms.
The finally selected farms will have the opportunity to display and promote their produced fruit at the evaluation and exhibition event held at the Fruit Excellence Project Office on September 30th as outstanding Shine Muscat farms representing Hwaseong Special City.
The city expects this evaluation contest to boost the pride of farms producing high-quality Shine Muscat, while raising awareness of the excellence of Shine Muscat produced in Hwaseong Special City and enhancing the brand value of local agricultural products.
