Yongin Mayor Lee Sang-il Holds Tea Discussion with Retired School Principals to Discuss Educational Environment Development

Yongin Special Municipal Mayor Lee Sang-il held a tea discussion on the 3rd with retired school principals from local schools to discuss cooperation methods for cultivating future talent and improving the educational environment.

At the tea discussion held in the reception room of City Hall, the mayor met with six school principals who retired on August 31st of this year, listened to their reflections from the school field, and exchanged opinions on providing better environments for students.

Mayor Lee Sang-il said, "I express my gratitude for the dedication of the principals who actively resolved issues arising in the school field and worked to help students realize their dreams," and added, "I expect that successor principals will follow the example of their senior principals and actively work to cultivate talent for the Republic of Korea and Yongin."

Prior to the tea discussion, Mayor Lee Sang-il presented letters of appreciation to the six retired school principals in attendance, expressing gratitude for their contributions to creating an environment where schools and local communities grow together based on close cooperation and communication with Yongin Special Municipality.

The city plans to separately deliver letters of appreciation to four retired school principals who were unable to attend the tea discussion due to personal circumstances.
