Gyeonggi Province Office of Education Announces 8,544 Passers for 2nd Session of GED Examination

On the 28th, the Gyeonggi Province Office of Education announced the passers of the "2026 2nd Session of Elementary School, Middle School, and High School Graduation Equivalency Examination."

The "2026 2nd Session GED Examination" conducted on the 11th of this month had 9,543 test-takers out of 10,799 applicants, with 8,544 passing the examination for a 89.53% pass rate. This represents a decrease of approximately 0.44 percentage points compared to the 89.97% pass rate of the 2026 1st Session GED Examination held in April.

The pass rates by education level were as follows: △Elementary School Graduation Equivalency 96.06% (634 test-takers, 609 passers) △Middle School Graduation Equivalency 93.18% (1,817 test-takers, 1,693 passers) △High School Graduation Equivalency 88.01% (7,092 test-takers, 6,242 passers).

The number of test-takers who achieved perfect scores in all subjects were △Elementary School 52 people △Middle School 40 people △High School 199 people. The oldest passers were △Elementary School born in 1947 △Middle School born in 1945 △High School born in 1938, and the youngest passers were △Elementary School born in 2014 △Middle School born in 2014 △High School born in 2013.

Scores can be checked at 'NEIS GED Service (https://kged.go.kr)' after identity verification.

Additionally, certificates of passing (by subject) and transcripts of grades can be issued online through the 'Government24 website,' and can also be obtained by visiting the administrative office of nearby elementary, middle, or high schools or by visiting the education office (support office).
