Suwon Foundation for Culture Operates 'Moonlit Bicycle Library'

Suwon Foundation for Culture announced that it will operate the mobile reading culture content 'Moonlit Bicycle Library' around Suwon Hwaseong from September to October.

The project was designed to allow citizens and tourists to naturally encounter books while strolling through Suwon Hwaseong.

The bicycle library will circulate along tourist routes around Suwon Hwaseong, including Hwaseong Haenggung, Haenggung Plaza, and Banghwa Soryujeong, every Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The mobile bookshelf carries theme-based recommended books, and introduces cultural events and tourism content through video devices. At stopping points, book displays, free reading, and bookmark-making experiences will be held, providing a unique reading experience.

A foundation official said, "We hope that visitors can meet, read, and experience books along the beautiful night paths of Suwon Hwaseong, and create special memories."
