Suwon Comprehensive Welfare Center for People with Disabilities Commemorates 20th Anniversary
On the 17th, the Seoul Metropolitan West Regional Headquarters of Korea Expressway Service held a commemorative event at Suwon Central Baptist Church to mark the 20th anniversary of the opening of the Suwon Comprehensive Welfare Center for People with Disabilities.
The commemorative event, titled 'Twenty Years Old, Shining Brighter,' was organized by the Suwon Comprehensive Welfare Center for People with Disabilities and brought together people with disabilities and their families, local residents, sponsors, and volunteers to celebrate the center's twentieth birthday and reflect on the past 20 years of its history.
The Seoul Metropolitan West Regional Headquarters of Korea Expressway Service, which practices coexistence with the local community through various sharing and volunteer activities each year, has maintained a continued relationship with the comprehensive welfare center and participates in various social contribution activities including support for happy meals.
An official from the Seoul Metropolitan West Regional Headquarters of Korea Expressway Service stated, "We will continue to engage in various social contribution activities together with the local community, including the Suwon Comprehensive Welfare Center for People with Disabilities, and contribute to building a local community where people with and without disabilities can live together."
