Hwaseong FC Midfielder Park Jae-sung Selected as August MVP by Fans

Park Jae-sung, midfielder for Hwaseong FC, has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for August in the 2026 season following fan voting.

The fan vote was conducted through the club's official social media from the 2nd to the 4th of the month. Park Jae-sung received the most support from fans and was confidently selected as the August MVP.

Throughout August, Park Jae-sung solidly protected Hwaseong FC's midfield based on his high activity level and experienced match management. In Round 20 against Daegu, he served as a connecting link between defense and offense, cutting off the opponent's attacking flow with aggressive pressing and sharp forward passes, contributing to the team's 5-1 victory and the league's three-game winning streak.

He also stood out in Round 24's match against Chungbuk Cheongju, the club's final home game. He not only maintained stable midfield control but also scored an opening goal early in the first half to lift the match atmosphere, contributing to the team's victory by maintaining momentum throughout.

With his wide vision and precise ball-blocking ability, Park Jae-sung intercepts opponent attacks in advance and helps the team maintain offensive and defensive balance through intelligent positioning and accurate attacking play.
