Rep. Kim Gyo-hung Appointed as Special Advisor Group Director for Democratic Party Chair
Democratic Party of Korea Chair Kim Min-seok appointed Rep. Kim Gyo-hung as director of the party chair's special advisor group on the 21st. The position of special advisor group director will be jointly held by Rep. Kim and former Rep. Choi Jae-sung.
This personnel appointment was made as one of the party position selections announced by Chair Kim around the Supreme Council meeting held at Gangneung City Hall in Gangwon Province on that day.
Rep. Kim is a three-term representative who served as a National Assembly member from Incheon Seo-gu A District in the 17th, 21st, and 22nd sessions of Congress. He has held positions including chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Administration and Safety, chair of the Committee on Culture, Sports and Tourism, chair of the Democratic Party of Korea's Incheon Metropolitan Chapter, and Secretary-General of the 30th National Assembly. He is currently serving on the Committee on Health and Welfare and the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts.
